Today is the day I've feared. The day most parents fear. My beautiful little four year old told me the thing all parents fear. Wait for it, wait for it....she wants a BELLY RING! Auuggghhh! It's like she knew I would be horrified at the thought.
I asked when she wanted to pierce her ears. And she said, "Now, oh, and I want one in my belly button too." I'm just in shock. What's next? I really don't want to know.
I pray that we survive her teenage years. She's a heartbreaker in the works. I think we will just lock her up like Rapunzel. If only it were that simple. I guess I will just trust in God to keep her close.

oh wow! hahaha! I've asked Katie to let me pierce her ears and she freaks out every time we talk about it. Maybe the belly button phase will pass :)
