Kate-isms

Our youngest child has a very grown up personality.  She often says really funny things at just the right time.  She has a very quick whit that is all  her own.  We like to call it "Kate-isms" when she makes a funny, although true statement. 

She has a very good sense of who she is at the ripe old age of four!  She never meets a stranger, even though we do warn her about "strangers."  She will strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere, and at any time.  I gotta say, this usually leaves me quite anxious as to what she will say.  One just never knows!!

You have to be very careful what you say around her.  If you don't want it repeated over and over again, just don't say it around her.  She has no filter yet!!

Her most famous statement occurred during a time of sadness for our little family.  Our beloved pet flying squirrel, Ernie, died.  While I was trying to comfort my oldest child by saying how he'd had a really good life, Kate blurts out, "Yeah, right up until he died!"  I mean where does she come up with this stuff?  Kate had a straight face and was completely serious. 

Although, she is quite entertaining, she can really get you into a jam with all her "Kate-isms."  Dear God, help us!!  Stay tuned for more!!
