I love summertime, and all that that word implies. Family, friends, boats, water, grilling, and lazy! We are RIVER RATS, and dang proud of it! We have a camp in Alabama, and it is safe to say, that our girls would rather sell our house, move to the trailer at the river, and share a room. They love it that much. It is truly what summer is all about!

We have had a boat since Kaylei was a baby, but with our new addition, Kate, the boat got smaller. Since we are never without extended family or friends at the river, we truly have outgrown our first boat.

This year, we have a newer, bigger boat! We cannot wait to load it down with goodies, hook up the inner tube, and add some good ole river time fun!

We took it out for a test run to the reservoir last Sunday on Mother's Day, and boy did we have fun! The girls were ready to jump in, but the water hasn't heated up yet.

I'm not a boat person, but I love being near the water. Grilling out, hanging with friends, catching some rays.

Congrats on the new boat my frand!!! I can't wait for summer either! The girls look so happy!!
I love riding in a boat — but that's all I'm gonna do. I have to be able to see what's in the water all the way to the bottom or I freak out. =) Looks like fun, though!
