Friends, they RUB off!

Recently, my husband and I had the kids from our "Small Group" on a Sunday night.  Our lesson was on FRIENDS.  I must admit, I really learned a lot.  One particular exercise we did was to color in bubble letters that spelled out "friends" with a regular pencil.  We instructed the kids to color as dark as they could.  We explained how important it is to have friends who follow Godly principles.  After, they finished coloring, we asked them to rub their fingers across the colored letters to see what happened.  Guess what?  Friends RUB off!! 

I explained that likewise they, too, can rub off on others, so they need to make sure they set a positive example that Jesus would be proud of.  We had a lot of fun, but a really great lesson was learn by us all.  Friends, they do RUB off!  I hope I can take such a simple lesson and apply it to my life.  I hope to be a good influence on others.  You really can learn a lot from a kid, huh?
